How Does it Work?

cropped-carrot-range1.jpgTo subscribe go to the ‘Sign Up‘ page. When your subscription is confirmed,  you can collect produce directly from the farm or from our pick-up points: around Hull (Kingswood and Newland Avenue) and Beverley (Keldgate)

Other collection points can be arranged according to members location, contact us to make arrangements.

There are limited places on the box scheme, last year we had lots of people on the waiting list so it’s good to subscribe in advance.

Harvest days for the box scheme will be Wednesdays so your veg bags will be ready for collection on Wednesday evenings.

Your subscription starts week commencing 25th June 2018.

Please note: we expect members to sign up for the full 26 week season. Members can arrange for a friend to collect their vegetables when they are away. We will need two weeks’ notice of cancellation of a vegetable share, this gives us time to recruit someone to take your place.

Becoming a CSA member at Frith Farm will be a rewarding decision; you’ll enjoy the highest quality, chemical free food that has been harvested the very day you get it. You’ll be kept up to date with news, events and workshops and are invited to actively participate in the processes involved in producing your food.

It is also a financial commitment that we ask you to consider carefully; while we would love to take everyone that applies, there are requirements:

You must be happy to commit to the full course of the box scheme; from 25th June until 17th December. Direct debits can be made every Monday or Monthly from when you start. This is to provide us with a reliable customer base – as a small, non-profit organisation; we need to ensure regular orders so as to limit waste.

As a member you have the opportunity but are not required to get involved with the farm; whether it is getting stuck in with the farm tasks or simply joining in around a camp fire at one of our get-togethers, we’d love to see Frith develop a strong community of core of members.

We offer three CSA Box options:

Large: will suit most families or some couples and individuals who cook often
Medium: will suit most couples and some individuals
Small: suits individuals or couples who are not routinely cooking at home

If collecting from the farm or Beverley

Signing up to the box scheme will give you best value for money, however, if you do not want to commit to the membership scheme, you can buy our fresh produce from our market stall outside Grain Wholefoods on Newland Avenue, starting Saturday 30th June. We also supply Grain Wholefoods (Hull).

If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.
