How Does it Work?

A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is very much like a box scheme. In exchange for a weekly/monthly/annual subscription you receive your share of a varied, nutritious, all locally & lovingly produced harvest. Expect your first box on the 26th June 2019.Harvest days for the box scheme will be Wednesdays.Box options and prices click here.

Being a CSA, Frith is more than your average box scheme; members not only receive a share of the harvest, but we actively invite you to join in the farming process. CSA thrives on community involvement, we run regular volunteer days and a workshare scheme were 10 members have the chance to work a 3.5 hour session per week for a complimentary veg box. Members can visit the farm and an active social area will be maintained for members use and a range of events available from Yoga, live music, floristry and feasts.

We  understand that juggling work and family life can be demanding & time can be short for a some people making getting your hands dirty a big ask from us – in which case a financial exchange for fresh, high quality, local produce to your door is more than enough.

As the farm will be directly accountable to the members we strive to produce fresh, high quality nutrient dense food that is grown with a respect for natural habitat and without the use of any pesticides or chemical fertilisers.

There are limited places on the box scheme, last year we had lots of people on the waiting list so it’s good to subscribe in advance. So secure yourself seasonal veg on our

To subscribe go to the ‘Sign Up‘ page. When your subscription is confirmed,  you can collect produce directly from the farm or from our pick-up points: around Hull and Beverley.

Other collection points can be arranged according to members location, contact us to make arrangements.

Please note: At Frith farm we encourage members to sign up for the full 28 week season. This way you get the most out of your box and the farm is supported. If you’re away we will happily provide your friend or family member with that weeks share. Although cancellation is possible, we do ask you give 3 weeks notice so as we can best share out the  produce.

Signing up to the box scheme offers the best value, however, if you’d like more flexibility you can buy our fresh produce from  Grain wholefoods on Newland.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.
